Before I leave

As my soul slips from my body,

it pauses for a moment

to see what's left.

Did it make an impact on the

world it is leaving?

Is the grace of heaven

going to be left floating where

it once was?

Or a whole of a body that

once lived?

The thought of grace to come

crosses my mind.

But did I make an impact upon

this world?

With a moment now gone,

the spirit of me flies away....
